“ I had ordered from Shoprite's catering department as having a Holiday luncheon for Imperial Dade office personnel in Jersey City on December 20th. This was for about 100 & the delivery was timely at 1145AM . There was a smorgasbord....3 foot veggies sub...3 foot hoagie...Philly steak sandwiches..3 foot gourmet hero ...veggies wrsps...artesian baguettes...sloppy joes..Greek chunks...panini wraps...sliders...salads...cookies...cupcakes...wing platter spicy ...cut veggies....more &more&more........ The employees thoroughly enjoyed lunch to the max...coming back for seconds.... Kudos to Shoprites catering department as did an AWESOME JOB.!!! THANKS TO ALL for making Holiday luncheon a HUGE SUCCESS.... I will be ordering come December 2023 .. ”

“ I actually really like this ShopRite! It's always well lit, clean, and smells decent. I love that they carry fresh fruit and vegetables that are never on the verge of spoiling by the time you get them home. They also have a hot food section where you can get wings and rice and other things already cooked. There's a flower section, bakery, and seafood section. Another thing I love is the variety of foods that they carry. For example, they have almond, oak, soy, coconut, rice, macadamia nut, flax and cashew milk, in addition to dairy milk. On this visit 3 of the floor associates asked if I was looking for anything that they can point me towards. I love how helpful and proactive the associates are! The only issue is that the lines are always long. But they move fast so don't be deterred. ”
“ The Shoprite of Newark is MASSIVE in size. Positives for this location include the ready-meal/prepared food counters that are all made in-house (hot foods and sushi) and the in-house bakery goods (from the bakery, there are some specialty items that you won't find in the other Shoprite locations in-county, e.g. sweet potato pies and bean pies). Even before Covid, I always try to do smaller trips to this location and just pay through Express or Self-Check out. The line waits can be really long - especially during the weekends. Tip: Go shop very early if you can. ”
